The IG World War of Edits
1) Groups battle by having a single representative for each theme
-Each battle will last one week
-Theme for each battle will be determined before the competition begins
- 3 entries per representative per theme
2) Themes will be
a. STRAIGHT HDR
-Single image only; different exposures of the same image is acceptable
-No fisheye lens
- Any apps can be used except juxtaposer and blender
-Original photos only
b. ABSTRACT
-Any apps can be used
c. SIMPLE EDITS/MINIMALISM/COLOR SPLASH (minimal use of apps)
-Maximum 3 apps used to be mentioned in your caption
d. FANTASY
-Any app can be used
-No web images
e. PHOTOPAINTING
-Any app can be used
3) All edits to be done through iPhone, iPad, iPod or Droid phones only
4) Entries will be judged by a point system. If a tie happens, group selects a member to represent them in an all out battle
-All judges have final say on their particular vote and is final
5) All photos must be original; no use of internet images whatsoever; you may use your friend’s photos, but please make sure you obtain permission and credit them in your caption.
Limitations are set to challenge the creativity and originality of each team’s participants. Come prepared with your arsenal and skills and get ready for battle!
